  We had the worst day ever!! We had to wait like an hour to get the room. Once we enterred the room, the floor was so wet. The bedsheet and... read more pillow covers were untidy, with hairs on them. We had to call to change and we lost so much time just to fix the room! Some of the staffs are very friendly but some staffs are so terrible! Like we went to the spa, they laugh on your face! The food is always cold and the service is a complete disaster! Not going there again! I wonder how could this so called hotel is rated as a 4.5 * staff don't have manners and make fun of guests. We could identify the type of service offered to international guests and local guests. Needs to improve on racism as well.

We were then escorted to our room and everything about the hotel was explained... read more to us .. we had a sea view room .. we had the most amazing view from the balcony .. as I was travelling with a friend I’d requested a twin bedded room , when we arrived at the room the beds were joined together but the staff quickly sorted it for us ..
We enjoyed the food very much , there were a lot of curry which I don’t eat but there was always plenty of alternative foods to eat .. lunch was normally served on the beach .. the grounds were well kept and manicured ..
The beach and cocktails weren’t great , but apart from that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend ..
Emmanuel gave excellent customer service , always asked our our day went and he always remembered which drinks we liked with our meals ..

  This was our first time to Mauritius and the hotel and holiday exceeded our expectations. We loved the peacefulness of the resort and no matter if we lay by the beach or by the pool it was quiet and calm. The hotel and grounds are kept extremely keen and there are great housekeeping staff. Really good cocktails on the all inclusive menu and even the house wine was of a high standard too. The staff at the hotel certainly made our holiday. Lucie one of the chefs stood out to us as well as Manoj the manager and Ashwini in the spa. That was also a wonderful experience and a must if you like to treat yourself to a massage while on holiday. We went on two day trips organised through Mani tours at the hotel, one to watch and swim with the dolphins, followed by lunch on a desert island and the second, a tour of the south of the island. Mauritius is truly a beautiful island with lots of stunning areas and attractions to see and experience. Overall our best holiday to date and this hotel is 10 out of 10. More

We had a... read more Superior Ocean View Room with balcony and as soon as we entered and saw the view we knew we would have a fabulous time! Room was spacious and spotlessly clean. Maid service everyday with towel and linen change. A/C very quiet and efficient. Pool area and gardens were fabulous. Staff very friendly and accommodate all your wishes. We found the food excellent. It is very authentic Mauritian / Indian so may not be to everybody’s taste although there was always pasta and pizza and on some nights Chinese food. Breakfast was excellent and we ate lunch at the Burger bar on three occasions and had good food and excellent service. Flies are abundant during the day and are a bit of a nuisance but the hotel does everything possible to keep food covered. Interestingly the flies disappear in the evening so dinner is not a problem. Spa was excellent for a massage. We had a fabulous holiday at the Anelia

  Anelia Resort & Spa location is perfect for to travel Port Louis by bus 123. Cost 44 Mauritius rupees (equal to 80 pence). Also, another bus connects to Quatre Bornes... read more metro station. In all two buses from outside Anelia Resort. Bus stop 5 minutes walk. The bus runs every 15 minutes.

The food is very good and has lots of variety, especially for Indian vegetarians. Beer-Phoenix.

3 outdoor swimming pools. The room is very spacious. Our one is Oceanview.

The resort is on the west side of Mauritius. Not windy but comfortable.

Flic en Flac beach walking distance, but Sundays get very crowdy. Lots of Sun Lounge. No shortage.
