We had a Superior Ocean View room which was lovely and large. Lots of closet space, big bathroom and a nice, big balcony. There was also a small fridge. Really nothing to complain about when it comes to the room. Also the cleaning staff were professional and very kind. However, the restaurant and especially the breakfast and dinner were awful. The biggest issue was with the staff who were very slow and unprofessional. I don't even mind that they were slow but cleanliness was a huge issue. The tables had dirty table cloths, plates and cutlery. We either had to ask someone to replace them or did it ourselves. You had to ask for drinks to be delivered several times before actually getting them. Biggest issue was at breakfast when tables were not cleaned or if they were it happened extremely slowly. One day they ran out of coffee cups at breakfast and I was twice offered a dirty cup (that had been used by someone else) that the employee wiped with a cloth right there in front of me. When I asked for a washed cup, she did it again. I then asked if I can have a cup that someone didn't just drink from, at which point the... Unfortunately, we can't recommend this hotel.

The quality of the food was low. The only good food were the indian dishes (note that I'm not Indian nor have been there so no idea how authentic it was) as they tasted very good and were somewhat spicy. Also the fried eggs at breakfast were good. Everything else was kind of awful.

The bar staff had zero training whatsoever. They didn't know how to make most of the cocktails so they googled them there and then or improvised. None of them were even close to what they're supposed to be. Also, when asking for dry wine, the bartender kept giving me very sweet ones. They had no idea what they were serving.

So while the room, the view and the pool were nice, I really cannot recommend the hotel. The staff are not professionally trained at all. More

Anelia resort was booked with lot of hopes . They assured availability of good indian chef and quality food, which we never could taste during our 5 days stay. The only silverlining was good tour guides , though they too didn't take us to some better locations. It's always advisable to first scan hotel properties and travel agencies through sites like tripadvisor and then proceed with better n reasonable options. Mauritius is of course a great beautiful country with scenic views and many options for fun loving tourists having very hospitable people. More

The room opened directly onto the infinity pool and had the beach just in front of it. The food was buffet system but was good still has space for improvement in terms of quality. It had all varieties of cuisines from French to Indian with an English breakfast for the morning.

Once again, A big thanks for Mr. Ackson and Mr. Ruben you guys made our stay special.

Dear management- Your Restaurant, bar and housekeeping team is little lazy and arrogant pls look into it.

Curtains had holes in & were mouldy, build up of hair & dirt behind the bed, no bedding change in ten days of staying here. Towels only changed if you threw them on the floor. AC was non existent. Cleaners spedante more time on their phones instead of cleaning.
Pool area ok & staff in pool bar good, pool towel guy really pleasant, however sun loungers were never cleaned & were covered in grime. Food ok at times; too many flies!!

The hotels in which I usually stay are horrendous, and make me think that I am in a hospital! Also, the services provided are just pathetic despite the fact that they are 4 Star hotels. This is the first time when I stayed at your hotel during a business trip. To say I am impressed would be an understatement. On the last night of the stay,we had to move,because they overbooked your room. Now they give us a box room. Staff is over worked,rarely they smile. This is the treatment for Mauritian guests. Nobody from management will help you,actually they will blame the booking company,or you for their incompetence! Everybody should stay away from this hotel,until they change the whole management and front office staff. In the all inclusive package you will have to pay your cappuccino,espresso,and after 10:30pm,you have to pay any drinks you will take from the bar. And the mini bar,is just a mini empty fridge. STAY AWAY from this 4* hotel,because there is no star there whatsoever. Yet,a big thank you for the cleaning staff,start from their manager!
P.S. No sockets are working all over the hotel!
