Anelia resort was booked with lot of hopes . They assured availability of good indian chef and quality food, which we never could taste during our 5 days stay. The only silverlining was good tour guides , though they too didn't take us to some better locations. It's always advisable to first scan hotel properties and travel agencies through sites like tripadvisor and then proceed with better n reasonable options. There is a lovely man who is trying to reintroduce evening entertainment - the 2 evenings where dinner was on the beach was good and we all got up and danced with the dancers on stage but the other evenings were woefully dull - luckily we made friends with another 2 couples and on karaoke night we entertained all the other guests. There really should have been someone from the hotel to encourage others to join in but there wasn't so when we had had enough, it just fizzled out! I would say this is a 3 star hotel at best but could be so much more if they make the entrance/reception area brighter/more inviting and completely refurbish the dining area which... The staff were amazing and cannot be faulted. It’s just a shame about the rubbish and the flies and birds as we visited the Maldives last year which was amazing and had high hopes for Mauritius but it wasn’t to be. We spent 12 nights here but after 4 we were looking for an early flight home. I must also say that myself and my wife had at least 4 “episodes” where we couldn’t stray too far from a toilet for a good few hours. So we resorted to eating out most days, not brilliant to pay for all inclusive and then have to spend another £1000 in restaurants. More

  The deluxe sea view rooms were exceptionally
beautiful. The scenic views from the room are also quite good. Very respectable and helpful staff (front office-Ruben, Loshny Culinary- chef Naga... read more fnb -Ackson and Ajay). The room opened directly onto the infinity pool and had the beach just in front of it. The food was buffet system but was good still has space for improvement in terms of quality. It had all varieties of cuisines from French to Indian with an English breakfast for the morning.

Once again, A big thanks for Mr. Ackson and Mr. Ruben you guys made our stay special.

Dear management- Your Restaurant, bar and housekeeping team is little lazy and arrogant pls look into it.
