During our 2 week stay the daytime was quiet... read more at the hotel which was lovely. The room was large and plenty of tea and coffee in the room. The shower did leak out into the bedroom but no biggy as our cleaner gave us another towel to put across the door. We stayed in a premium room looking out to sea, beautiful view. The tiles on our patio area had several cracked tiles. The food was only hot if you got it from the griddle or cooked noodles, there was a great choice of different cuisines but would have been so much nicer if it was hot. A fabulous gala meal on Christmas Eve on the beach had a lot of effort put into it. Still only tepid food though. The pool by the dining area was very dirty ( not the water) The whole place needs refurbishing and bring it up to standard of a 4* which it is rated at. I would say more 2/3* at the moment. The first night we went to eat ( family of 4) we could not find a table to accommodate 4 people, lots of tables for 2 were vacant. We were told we couldn’t put 2 tables together and we should go earlier, not the solution we would expect, after speaking to the dining manager we got tables put together. Next day we spoke with the general manager and asked why it was a problem to put tables together, he said there shouldn’t be a problem. We had evening entertainment which was loud but to make it much worse they had private functions on the beach with extremely loud music competing with the hotel entertainment. This going on while trying to have an evening meal. We did complain that it was far to loud, it actually reverberated on the patio to our rooms. Nothing was ever done about the volume, even though we complained to the general manager, the only positive was it stopped at 11 pm. I will say the staff in general were lovely. 😊 I could write lots more but I feel this is enough to be going on with.

  I'm happy to have picked Anelia Resorts for our accommodation during my honeymoon trip to Mauritius last month. The hotel staff was very kind, prompt, warm and welcoming towards us... read more and we felt at ease around the place.

There were one or two occasions where we had some complaints around the service but those were acted on promptly and proactively addressed by the hotel staff. Huge shout out to Loshny who helped coordinate and upgrade our booking to a honeymoon booking, as we had been incorrectly booked for regular vacation package by our travel agent.

The resort offers complimentary and paid water activities and also helps with any logistical requests you may have (cab, two wheeler rentals, currency exchange etc). The wifi is connectivity is strong throughout the resort and was sufficient to carry out any work related tasks if necessary.

The candle light dinner by the beach side along with live performance was certainly stand out experience of our stay and for that I once again extend my sincere thanks to Loshny and her team.

  Anelia Resort & Spa location is perfect for to travel Port Louis by bus 123. Cost 44 Mauritius rupees (equal to 80 pence). Also, another bus connects to Quatre Bornes... read more metro station. In all two buses from outside Anelia Resort. Bus stop 5 minutes walk. The bus runs every 15 minutes.

The food is very good and has lots of variety, especially for Indian vegetarians. Beer-Phoenix.

3 outdoor swimming pools. The room is very spacious. Our one is Oceanview.

The resort is on the west side of Mauritius. Not windy but comfortable.

Flic en Flac beach walking distance, but Sundays get very crowdy. Lots of Sun Lounge. No shortage.
