When I complained they took my room number and said they would speak to the manager but I never heard a thing. Food never catered for the Europeans and I know it’s good to try different cultures but the same things every night? Totally misuse of ‘“All inclusive” only a few cocktails on the menu with beer and soft drinks, no milkshakes allowed or other drinks all had to be paid for no ice cream allowed apart from between 12 and 3 at the burger bar, the service at the burger bar was so slow.
I can’t believe how many staff didn’t speak any English at all.
Many of the staff looked like they didn’t want to be there.
One positive for the hotel was very chilled around the pool, always sun-beds available

  I'm happy to have picked Anelia Resorts for our accommodation during my honeymoon trip to Mauritius last month. The hotel staff was very kind, prompt, warm and welcoming towards us... read more and we felt at ease around the place.

There were one or two occasions where we had some complaints around the service but those were acted on promptly and proactively addressed by the hotel staff. Huge shout out to Loshny who helped coordinate and upgrade our booking to a honeymoon booking, as we had been incorrectly booked for regular vacation package by our travel agent.

The resort offers complimentary and paid water activities and also helps with any logistical requests you may have (cab, two wheeler rentals, currency exchange etc). The wifi is connectivity is strong throughout the resort and was sufficient to carry out any work related tasks if necessary.

The candle light dinner by the beach side along with live performance was certainly stand out experience of our stay and for that I once again extend my sincere thanks to Loshny and her team.

The housekeeping was not acceptable our bedding wasn't changed for the 10 days we were there and the bathroom wasn't cleaned (just the sink once). Staff were so so some of them would speak but you had to make the effort to speak to them first, the manager however was very friendly and went out of his way to speak to guests. Food wasn't too good, breakfast was the best meal as you could order fresh omelettes, there was plenty of fresh fruit too. Lunch was the worst but you could use the burger bar if on AI. Local area - some restaurants but no local shops apart from two and they closed very early.
Prices - very expensive for everything outside the hotel.
Beach wasn’t bad just disappointing. Very small and rest of frontage is black boulders used as sea defences. There’s steps leading to a sea swimming area but they are broken but still can be used with care. Take own snorkel and reef shoes. Please get those steps fixed.

We did two trips. Both were excellent and booked through Facebook from recommendations on the Love Mauritius page. Took boat trip which was fantastic. South Island trip brilliant too.

Weather in mid May was very good. Occasionally depending on wind direction there could be some cloud cover and short, sharp showers but majority of time was perfect. Very warm but not too uncomfortable.

So please fix steps to sea, get coffee machines working. Sort out check in. Otherwise fantastic hotel - keep up the good work. More
