Don’t come here if you want... read more wall to wall entertainment but do come if you want to relax in excellent surroundings. Good points - Immaculately clean everywhere. Friendly staff. Beautiful swimming pool. Good breakfasts. Lovely grounds that were well maintained. Large rooms with large comfortable beds. Food was excellent and never got bored over two weeks. No tummy bugs either. Flic en flac beach - you can walk for miles. Drinks - mostly good although Pina Colada was pre made. White wine and beer very drinkable. Beautiful sunsets. Area felt very safe. Bad points- Arrival. Looked after well with drink and towel but left for 30 minutes then told room wasn’t ready and wouldn’t be for another 4 hours. Allowed to have a shower but after travelling for 24 hours, all you want is a change of clothes and dive into the pool. They were even a little hesitant on us getting lunch or a drink as the all inclusive didn’t start until we got our key. Shame holiday started like this as had no other real issues. Tea and coffee - only available from main restaurant. Even at breakfast it was pre made in insulated jugs. Each bar had a coffee machine but was not in use. No cold milk. Local area - some restaurants but no local shops apart from two and they closed very early.
Prices - very expensive for everything outside the hotel.
Beach wasn’t bad just disappointing. Very small and rest of frontage is black boulders used as sea defences. There’s steps leading to a sea swimming area but they are broken but still can be used with care. Take own snorkel and reef shoes. Please get those steps fixed.

We did two trips. Both were excellent and booked through Facebook from recommendations on the Love Mauritius page. Took boat trip which was fantastic. South Island trip brilliant too.

Weather in mid May was very good. Occasionally depending on wind direction there could be some cloud cover and short, sharp showers but majority of time was perfect. Very warm but not too uncomfortable.

So please fix steps to sea, get coffee machines working. Sort out check in. Otherwise fantastic hotel - keep up the good work. More
