Curtains had holes in & were mouldy, build up of hair & dirt behind the bed, no bedding change in ten days of staying here. Towels only changed if you threw them on the floor. AC was non existent. Cleaners spedante more time on their phones instead of cleaning.
Pool area ok & staff in pool bar good, pool towel guy really pleasant, however sun loungers were never cleaned & were covered in grime. Food ok at times; too many flies!!

Guest services(front desk at reception) - not a very warm welcome by one of their staff members (don’t want to name in interest of her job security) - quite arrogant attitude, non-helping vibes added to her impolite behaviour. We had a... read more Superior Ocean View Room with balcony and as soon as we entered and saw the view we knew we would have a fabulous time! Room was spacious and spotlessly clean. Maid service everyday with towel and linen change. A/C very quiet and efficient. Pool area and gardens were fabulous. Staff very friendly and accommodate all your wishes. We found the food excellent. It is very authentic Mauritian / Indian so may not be to everybody’s taste although there was always pasta and pizza and on some nights Chinese food. Breakfast was excellent and we ate lunch at the Burger bar on three occasions and had good food and excellent service. Flies are abundant during the day and are a bit of a nuisance but the hotel does everything possible to keep food covered. Interestingly the flies disappear in the evening so dinner is not a problem.
